Sole Fiesta is a band formed around the songs of Jouke van der Krieke. He started writing songs at the age of 15, recording them on a Fisher Price cassette recorder, inspired by lo-fi artists like Sparklehorse and Smog. Songs kept piling up on 4-track tapes and digital recording devices. Sole Fiesta was born out of the desire to give these songs their place in the sun.
